Create the bot in Telegram

Open Telegram and start a chat with @BotFather. Send , then answer the two questions: a display name, and a username that must end in bot.

BotFather replies with an API token. Copy it somewhere safe for the next step.

Watch out
Anyone with this token controls your bot. Never paste it into a public document or a screenshot.
