Understand why in-Word beats copy-paste
The old workflow: copy text → paste into chatbot → copy the answer → paste back → fix the formatting. Claude for Word deletes that loop.
The sidebar reads the open document directly, and its edits land in place with your formatting intact. It can also review tracked changes-style: suggesting rather than overwriting, so you stay in control.
